The possible start times for children's birthdays are between 9 and 11 am, up to a maximum of 12 pm.
Generally, the earlier, the better.
As children usually go to bed late the night before and still wake up early, the early time is particularly suitable: they are still "fresh," can concentrate better, and can easily craft the somewhat more challenging adhesive foil sand pictures.
After the events, we still need about 1.5 to 2.5 hours for cleaning up, redecorating if necessary, and the return journey.
Therefore, we deliberately schedule weekend appointments for early hours – for the sake of our own children, so that we can still spend time with them afterwards.

Course of the celebration:

- Simultaneous arrival of guests: Hang up coats, don't forget slippers in winter!
- Welcome:
Introduction of the "Sandelfe" and presentation of a small gift (tattoos, matching the decoration theme, which are applied directly)

- Sand picture crafting:
Explanation of the technique and selection of a motif. The motifs are color-coded according to difficulty level. - Creative time:
Coloring 2 sand pictures, with small games in between
- Finished artworks are bagged
- Hand washing
- Eating & Celebrating: From approx. the 3rd hour
- Wish list in the magic mailbox
- Optional (depending on remaining time): Crafting crystal glass or wooden bead bracelets / picture frames / circle games
- Conclusion: Handover of the artworks in bags, and farewell
Age of children:
Children's birthdays with adhesive foil sand pictures are only possible from 1st grade, as crafting sand pictures requires a lot of patience, calmness, and concentration, as well as good fine motor skills.
At a children's birthday party, younger children, in particular, are usually very excited, which makes concentrated crafting in a group usually too difficult for them.
The celebration lasts 3 hours in a not overly large room, so romping around is not possible. The supporting program is accordingly calm.
Younger siblings are welcome to come along by arrangement.
