General information:

Always work on a table and place your working hand on it
-
Only work with the pricker
→ Never remove adhesive film parts with fingernails or by bending
→ Otherwise the adhesive film will be permanently damaged -
Provide wastepaper baskets and trays if necessary
- exercises fine motor skills, concentration & color understanding
Create a sand picture:
-
1. Remove contours (if any)
→ Sprinkle with black sand (contrast) -
2. Work on surfaces from the inside out
→ Sprinkle with colored sand
→ Tip: Place the template in a sand bowl and carefully sprinkle sand over it -
3. After each step:
→ Tap the template vigorously from the back (excess sand) -
4. Don't forget the background
Creative effects:
- → Sprinkle different colored sand with your fingers one after the other to create color gradients (salt scattering technique)
- → Tear off the protective film piece by piece or carefully fold it
Further information:

For each color:
→ A large bowl + 1 spoon if necessary -
No additional fixation necessary
→ Do not laminate! (Does not stick to the sand)
→ Instead: Frame - protects against dust and scratches -
For groups:
→ Work stationary, i.e. set up a standing work table with wastepaper baskets for removing the foil parts and one for the bowls of colored sand (place these at a distance from each other, with similar colors of sand next to each other. -
First explain, then craft:
→ Inform children first before they start, otherwise they will no longer listen
Safety instructions:

Small parts – choking hazard, not suitable for small children! Supervise children only.

Colored sand = non-toxic, without hazardous substances
